Since you’ve been gone I lost my way,

I saw the world being slowly transformed into a wilderness.

Out here, the fiend has no name.
It howls at night and stalks its prey.

Even though I walk through the darkest woods,
alone at night the wild strikes back.

We didn’t make the rules,
left them disregarded and ignored all warnings.
How would I know?
If I was the last man on earth.

Sentenced to walk a trail
through the darkest of woods.
It makes no difference,
we all get swallowed in the end.

Out here, the fiend has no name.

I look up to the sky,
where the bloodmoon is weakly shining
behind grey clouds.

Approaching noises from all sides.
Now I’m faced with a dozen pairs of inhuman eyes.
Even though it means my end, I look away.
Back to the sky, to the beautiful sky.
My only friend.
